About The Position
Coffman Engineers’ Anchorage office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to assist in the design of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and interested in working and growing with a multidisciplinary engineering team. The position is direct with Coffman Engineers and is not eligible for sponsorship. Coffman Engineers provides consulting services as both a prime consultant and subconsultant on projects across commercial, retail, institutional, government, and industrial markets, among others. Its multidisciplinary teams may include civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, corrosion control, project and construction management, and specialty services. The Anchorage office offers a professional office environment and the opportunity to work on varied projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or another structural engineering-related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 10 or more years of professional engineering experience.
- Experience in concrete and steel design.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA 3D or similar.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
- Experience in masonry and timber design.
- Structural Engineer (SE) registration.
