Senior Structural Engineer
About The Position
AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Chelmsford, MA. This role involves planning and designing new structures and rehabilitating existing ones, developing load rating tools for complex cable-stayed structures, and performing calculations and creating detailed engineering plans. The engineer will evaluate existing structures for safety, damage, and compliance, recommending necessary repairs. Responsibilities also include conducting site investigations and risk assessments, overseeing budgets, schedules, and quality control during design and construction, and training/mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field of study
- 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer or in a related occupation
- Advanced FEA analysis and design

Responsibilities
- Plan and design new structures and existing structure rehabilitations
