Requirements

8+ years of experience, 5+ years of timber engineering experience
PE or P.Eng.,SE preferred.
Seismic design experience
Advanced proficiency in ETABS, SAP, equivalent finite element software
Advanced MS Excel and Intermediate MS Word
Knowledge of mass timber systems
A knack for leading teams and mentoring others
Outstanding time management and financial management abilities
Innovative mindset with ability to promote new ideas with sound business potential

Responsibilities

Lead mass timber project teams from concept through construction
Build and maintain strong client relationships in the US market
Design complex mass timber structures including CLT, glulam, and hybrid systems
Contribute to the development of company engineering standards for mass timber
Mentor rising engineers in timber design practices and seismic theory
Become a recognized expert in mass timber within the firm and profession
