About The Position

Verse Medical is building the modern software infrastructure to connect providers, payors, and patients, ensuring people get the high-quality care they need, reliably and right where they live. This is a rare opportunity to join a small but mighty team in a broad Strategic Finance role. The role is focused on making it easier for patients to go home from the hospital and recover at home. You’ll be a key part of the team and dictate the trajectory of our most critical initiatives. You’ll report to the Head of Strategy & Operations and work closely with many other functional leaders within the company across Partnerships, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Product. This role comes with great responsibility, and while the company has a healthy culture, the role and expectations are fairly rigorous.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a banking, consulting, startup, or otherwise rigorous role
• First-principles thinking: ability to construct solutions from scratch
• Quantitative and analytical skills: solid numerical instincts and modeling skills
• Partnerships and sales experience: ability to carry the baton in external relationships, whether selling to a customer, selecting and negotiating with vendors, or project managing a new partnership launch
• Implementation and execution: ability to not only produce insights, recommendations, and strategies, but also do whatever it takes to make sure these actually come to life, with a bias for quick action rather than slow and polished deliverables

Responsibilities

• Generate insights that help the executive team make the most critical decisions that inform how Verse positions and prioritizes different product offerings
• Execute on your own recommendations and implement entire programs or initiatives as an operational or business development lead
• Lead external partnerships as either a project manager or de facto salesperson
• Implement internal operational processes and serve as the “glue” between various internal operating functions
• Support forecasting and planning in partnership with Analytics, Finance, and BizOps teams
