About The Position

The Senior Strategist is a key member of our Marketing Science team, supporting the development and implementation of data-driven solutions for advertising and media operations. This role requires strong expertise in business intelligence tools, data management, and analytics across digital media channels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, technical proficiency, and strong project management capabilities, playing a pivotal part in unifying data strategy, governance, and reporting for both internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data operations and/or business intelligence
  • 1-2 years in an advertising agency environment (media, analytics, business analysis, ad operations, or digital investment (preferred))
  • Practical experience managing campaign data across multiple media channels (digital, search, social, offline, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in data governance, data quality processes, data warehousing, and ETL environments
  • Familiarity working directly with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities; able to prioritize and multitask
  • Advanced data manipulation skills (Excel, Python, SQL, or Redshift)
  • Detail-oriented, with a keen ability to identify and resolve data anomalies
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing or collaborating with offshore teams is a strong plus
  • Media Planning: MediaTools, Lumina, Hudson (bonus)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior data operations leads to develop and implement comprehensive data strategies addressing client business challenges, with an ongoing focus on data governance, quality, and process improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between internal functional teams, external vendors, and offshore resources, ensuring clear communication of expectations, roles, and deliverables.
  • Participate in client communications, proactively resolve roadblocks, and maintain project momentum through status meetings and robust planning in project management tools.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain scalable data repositories, databases, and ETL pipelines.
  • Lead efforts in data harmonization, cleansing, and QA to ensure data integrity.
  • Design, build, and maintain impactful dashboards and reports tailored for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the validation, optimization, and reconciliation of campaign data by collaborating with media teams (programmatic, search, social, digital investment) and maintaining ongoing stewardship of data management and reporting.
  • Foster adoption of new data operations tools and methodologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends, digital operations changes, and technological advancements to deliver innovative solutions and maintain agency and client standards.
  • Provide requirements and solution guidance to team members, encourage collaboration in a fast-paced environment, and help promote a positive and supportive team culture.
