About The Position

Mortenson is seeking a Senior Strategic Intelligence Analyst to join its Market Intelligence team. This research-intensive role focuses on investigating industries, markets, competitors, economic conditions, customers, and emerging trends through desk research using public and subscription-based data, industry research, company information, news sources, and internal resources. The analyst evaluates source credibility, synthesizes quantitative and qualitative evidence, and identifies the findings and implications that matter to the business. The role develops evidence-based points of view and translates complex research into concise executive reports, briefings, outlooks, analyses, and presentations. It centers on research, analysis, synthesis, and business writing rather than dashboard development or primary market research. The analyst supports senior leaders and strategic decisions with market and competitive intelligence, business planning, growth strategy, and market prioritization. The role also uses AI and emerging research tools thoughtfully while independently evaluating sources and conclusions.
