About The Position

This role focuses on expanding emerging industries by providing cloud security products to recognized companies. The Senior Strategic Account Executive will work with some of Akamai's largest and most strategic Financial Services accounts, aiming to create and maximize revenue generation within these key customers. The goal is to grow relationships through high-value solutions and strengthen connections at all customer levels, including executive staff.

Requirements

  • 12 years of relevant enterprise sales experience
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • A track record of selling enterprise-class security software, SaaS, or internet-based technology solutions to enterprise companies
  • Demonstrated experience selling into strategic financial services accounts
  • Well-versed in engaging, influencing and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of a revenue plan to grow your existing customer base through identifying and selling additional software and services
  • Identifying, developing and closing new business with Akamai customers through successful engagements and relationship building
  • Delivering joint value proposition through in-person meetings, conference calls, sales activities, training's and other events
  • Being a trusted advisor to our customers and leading the integrated account team to deliver success
  • Championing and maintaining trusted high-level relationships with customers and field teams through business understanding and knowledge
