About The Position

Southern Staircase (Edge Building Solutions) is seeking an experienced carpenter/installer for a hands-on, field-based role installing high-end stair systems. This is not a delivery-only position—you’ll be actively installing on job sites while also handling deliveries. This is a physical, hands-on installation role, not a warehouse-only or delivery-only position.

Requirements

• 2+ years of carpentry, framing, or woodworking experience (REQUIRED)
• Skilled with saws, drills, levels, and measuring tools
• Ability to read layouts and work independently
• Valid driver’s license + clean MVR
• DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
• Must be 21+ years old
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in outdoor/job site conditions

Responsibilities

• Install custom stair systems (straight & curved)
• Cut, level, shim, and secure components using hand/power tools
• Read and execute blueprints and layouts
• Load, deliver, and unload materials (up to 75 lbs.)
• Drive a 26’ box truck to job sites
• Assist in the warehouse as needed
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites
