About The Position

Channel Marketing – Industrial Solutions is responsible for driving Channel engagements for our Solutions and New Product releases. They will focus on Channel meetings, Mass Market customers and driving application-level business opportunities through early customer engagement. Focus will be on the Industrial market, including applications in Building and Industrial Automation. This can include door locks, building security, HVAC and other technologies enabling next generation technologies. The role will be the regional lead for ensuring our local distributor partners have share of mind of our NPI’s and Solutions. They will work with Sales, Product Group partners and Solutions Team to formulate plan of engagement at all local Distributor Partners. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, marketing or technical sales
  • Locally based in the Boston area
  • Deep understanding of the Industrial market, with experience in Building Automation, Industrial Automation, or Energy sectors.
  • Proven ability to follow up on leads and develop relationships in the field.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Channel Engagement Planning
  • Work with Product Groups and Solutions Team to plan release schedule
  • Building Marketing plan around release schedule
  • Work with Sales on Engagement Plan
  • Present at Distributor offices
  • Hold Workshops with Distributors and Customers on new Solutions and NPI’s
  • Support team in building relationships with key accounts and ecosystem partners (internal and external).
  • Guide the identification of solution-level and product level opportunities and differentiation across key industrial segments.
  • Direct the promotion and positioning of relevant application-focused solutions.
  • Champion cross-business solution initiatives at a strategic level.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the BD team, field sales, FAEs, marketing, and business units.
  • Represent the regional voice in corporate planning and solution development.
  • Feed market intelligence back into business units.
