About The Position

The Senior Staff Product Marketing Specialist/Regional Product Marketing (RPM) Specialist is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, execution, and growth within a specific territory, lifecycle management, and commercial success of the MCU/MPU/Connectivity portfolio. This role involves translating complex technical specifications into customer-resonant value propositions, acting as a "General Manager" for the region by adapting global strategy to local market dynamics, and ensuring revenue and design-win targets are met through a customer-centric approach. Collaboration with Sales and stakeholders is key to identifying market opportunities and partnering with Distribution and Design Houses to build a support ecosystem. The role also serves as the "Voice of the Region," ensuring local requirements influence the future product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related industries.
  • 5+ years in product marketing or product line management.
  • Experience in P&L management, Strategic Marketing, Technical Marketing, Business development, Applications, Supply chain management, Cost management, or related roles.
  • Understanding of microcontroller or microprocessor or connectivity applications in consumer, industrial, automotive and data center or communications infrastructure applications and systems.
  • Understanding of Microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, etc).
  • Understanding of Connectivity Technology (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC).
  • Understanding of Embedded software ecosystems.
  • Understanding of Semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen with P&L ownership mindset.
  • Strategic thinking with data-driven decision making.
  • Customer-centric orientation.
  • High energy, self-motivation and go-getter attitude.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to present complex concepts in a clear, concise and effective way.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Creation & Design-Wins: Targeting high-potential customers, executing regional seminars, tech days, partner scouting, enablement, and trade shows. Tracking the "Design-In" to "Design-Win" pipeline to ensure future revenue. Uncovering and supporting opportunities to close and win. Working with distributors to support key accounts and "long tail" customers. Establishing deep customer relationships and aligning on product roadmaps and support. Adjusting local pricing to remain competitive.
  • Key customer initiatives: Profiling accounts (Customer Roadmap, Competition landscape, SKU map, SAM, key target opportunities/sockets, SWOT, customer org), developing engagement strategies and customer relationships, aligning on roadmap impact, defining account strategies, creating action plans, and long-term tracking.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM): Customizing collateral (pitch decks, product positioning, articles). Enabling sales teams and partners through training on new products, fighting guides, and tech trends. Developing and nurturing the ecosystem by training partners, preparing evaluation boards, and supporting IDEs and software libraries. Engaging with and identifying local 3rd party partners.
  • Strategy & Roadmap: Analyzing markets through a customer lens to identify emerging trends in IoT, Industrial Automation, Consumer Electronics, etc. Maintaining competitive intelligence to ensure superior pricing and performance.
  • Voice of the Region (VOR): Collecting specific regional requirements and influencing the global team to incorporate them into the roadmap. Monitoring competitor activities locally.
