Requirements

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years in power electronics (or Ph.D. with 3+ years) with a collaborative, growth mindset.
  • Deep knowledge of power conversion topologies, multiphase buck converters, and control loops.
  • Ability to inclusively advocate and build alignment around technical concepts through data-driven analysis and simulation.
  • Experience with Vertical Power Delivery (VPD) and advanced packaging, including embedded/co‑packaged power.
  • Familiarity with AI/Server power delivery and firmware interfaces such as PMBus and AVSBus.
  • Experience collaborating with international teams and Tier‑1 global customers; strong in systems‑level architecture, trade‑off analysis, customer‑facing technical credibility, and cross‑functional execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy & definition, translating system-level needs into detailed specifications across electrical (power delivery, efficiency, parasitics), thermal, mechanical/form factor, and reliability/lifetime requirements.
  • Set the architectural vision and define control schemes (including phase scaling, telemetry, and protection), serving as an inclusive steward of comprehensive product requirements.
  • Partner with customers and system stakeholders to understand application needs, use cases, and future roadmaps; support technical reviews and ongoing engagement.
  • Validate designs through circuit & electromagnetic co-simulation, perform comprehensive loss modeling across switching frequencies and operating conditions, and correlate simulation with hardware results.
  • Drive balanced design trade-offs across efficiency, thermal performance, power density, and cost, collaborating with semiconductor, IC design, packaging, magnetics, and thermal experts to co-optimize the product.
  • Guide prototype development, testing, and validation, and influence technology/product roadmaps based on customer insights and system trends.
