About The Position

In this role, you will leverage your knowledge in analog/mixed signal design during post-silicon validation, with a focus on electrical characterization and performance verification to ensure the integrity of our data communication solutions. You will characterize and validate PCIe, high speed SerDes IPs and ICs with lab instruments such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, etc. You will also design and develop system hardware and software for electrical characterization, functional validation, and performance analysis. Additionally, you will create customizable hardware reference designs to ensure consistent and reliable data communication solutions. You will review industrial standards, propose test methodologies, and create validation plans. You will document validation results and report issues. You will work with analog, digital and DSP design teams on issue investigation, performance improvement, and feature enhancement. Finally, you will provide technical support to other functional groups such as production, qualification, and application engineering teams to resolve customer and production related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5+ years of related professional experience.Or Master’s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong experience in electrical engineering field, particularly in analog and mixed-signal design.
• Experience in high speed SERDES electrical characterization / electrical compliance testing.
• Hands on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Function Generator, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
• Proficiency in programming language, Python preferred.
• Clear logic thinking and excellent problem-solving skill.
• Strong verbal/written communication and documentation skill.

Nice To Haves

• In-depth knowledge and working experience of PCIe and high speed SerDes technologies is preferred.
