About The Position

Clifton Park Hospital in York is seeking a full-time Senior Staff Nurse to join its Outpatient team. The role involves providing efficient, individualised patient care to a high standard, working both autonomously and as part of the team. The postholder will undertake extended clinical practice, including venepuncture and wound care management, and support outpatient services as delegated by the outpatient manager. They will communicate effectively, deliver excellent customer service, follow Ramsay policies and procedures to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes, and champion the Ramsay Way culture of People Caring for People. The hospital has outpatient facilities including consulting and treatment rooms, diagnostic testing, an in-house laboratory, X-ray and ultrasound investigations, and pre-operative assessment. The position is subject to background and DBS checks. Successful candidates will receive safeguarding training appropriate to their role.

Requirements

Registered with the NMC.
High standards of clinical competence.
Awareness of NICE guidelines on clinical assessment.
Sound written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs.
Passion for delivering an excellent patient-focused service.

Responsibilities
