Senior Staff, FPGA Engineer

Celestica International LP•Richardson, TX

About The Position

Celestica is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Senior Staff, FPGA Engineer to help design and build market-leading Hardware Platform Solutions. As a subject matter expert within the design and development group, this role develops FPGA designs and participates in the full FPGA development flow, from specification and coding through simulation, physical implementation, and debugging on hardware. The engineer works with cross-functional hardware and software teams to support robust product development. The role works closely with platform architects, board designers, and software designers to define architecture requirements; develops design specifications; collaborates on logic-related schematic design and review; and drives device selection. It is responsible for timely RTL design delivery, module-level verification and test-case definitions, the back-end design flow through timing closure, and validation and debugging on real hardware boards. The engineer also collaborates across functions, mentors junior design engineers, and provides project schedule estimates. Duties are performed in a normal office environment. The position may require occasional travel, extended sitting and sustained visual concentration, and frequent repetitive manual movements such as computer use and data entry. Celestica is an equal opportunity employer and an E-Verify employer.
