About The Position

Join Renesas’ Technology Development team as a Senior Engineer supporting power device development and semiconductor device characterization. The role oversees and maintains test equipment, performs wafer-level and packaged-part measurements, develops software needed by device development and modeling teams, and upgrades laboratory hardware and software as testing requirements change. The position uses HP4062/4073 testers with EG2080, EG4090, and TEL Precio XL probers and custom RMB code; HP8753 and Cascade full-temperature probers with HP IC-CAP software; and an Agilent B1500 with a manual probe station. Testing includes process and device characterization, EPROM testing, raw device I-V curves, HCI and HTRB reliability tests, transient manual measurements such as gate charge and reverse recovery, and S-parameter measurements. The engineer also works with team members to debug test-chip programs. Renesas is an embedded semiconductor solutions provider with a global team of more than 21,000 people in over 30 countries.
