Gusto is expanding its in-house creative studio within a fast-moving, late-stage startup. This role focuses on designing high-impact web experiences, campaign landing pages, interactive brand moments, and digital storytelling. The designer will partner closely with marketing and product teams to bring these experiences to life where the audience engages. The position requires the ability to shift between polished, high-craft web experiences and fast-turn campaign work within the same week. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on interactive craft, design systems, and brand storytelling. The designer will own digital experiences from wireframe through high-fidelity prototype and production handoff, making judgment calls on layout, interaction, motion, typography, and responsive behavior. Collaboration with engineers, marketers, and cross-functional partners is key to producing great work that defines the brand and has real impact. The role also involves raising the bar and making work easier to scale through better design systems, smarter component libraries, and mindful use of modern tools. The ideal candidate is energized by being close to the work, cares deeply about preference, and enjoys improving both the output and the process.
