About The Position

Responsible for advanced accounting tasks, including financial reporting, complex reconciliations, analysis, and supporting audits; serves as a key contributor to the accounting team, providing guidance to junior staff and ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies; works with minimal supervision and supports both operational and strategic financial initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years’ of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity or complex financial environments
Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and reporting standards
Experience with consolidated reporting, multi-entity accounting, and intercompany reconciliations
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Experience supporting audits and internal controls
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
ERP/accounting software experience required

Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts, including intercompany and multi-entity accounts.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Prepare financial statements and management reports; analyze variances and trends.
Support audits by providing schedules, documentation, and responding to inquiries.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
Mentor and train Staff Accountant I and II on accounting procedures and best practices.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, system upgrades, and ERP projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and recommend solutions.
