About The Position

Discovery Capital is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their Accounting Team. This position will handle the full-cycle accounting process for a group of diverse entities and partake in the financial analysis of business operations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to wear multiple hats.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of GAAP accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks
• Excellent organizational skills and analytical abilities
• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Full cycle accounting for assigned entities, including financial statement preparation
• Perform cash and bank reconciliations
• Process and analyze inter-company billings
• Monitor prepaid and accrual schedules
• General ledger reconciliation and analysis
• Accounts receivable reconciliations
• Loan tracking and reporting
