About The Position

The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. The location of this role is in Austin, Texas.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
• Strong understanding of GAAP

Nice To Haves

• CPA designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, highlighting any variances and trends for management review.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and analyze accounting transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct financial analyses to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Represent Empower Aesthetics alongside other stakeholders when onsite at partner practices
• Always maintain honest and ethical conduct while adhering to Empower Aesthetics’ core company values
