About The Position
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strengthening accounting processes within a dynamic P&C environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in Property & Casualty insurance, preferably homeowners
- Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting (NAIC reporting)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively

Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and Statutory (NAIC) requirements
- Support regulatory filings and ensure compliance with insurance reporting standards
- Assist with reinsurance accounting and evaluate financial impact of transactions
- Strengthen internal controls and contribute to audit readiness and coordination
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives
