About The Position

The Vision Care Sales Operations & Professional Medical Services Snr. Specialist is responsible for managing the operational components of RetinaVue P.C. as well as providing business operations support to the Vision Care team. This person will oversee a set of vendors and processes that ensure compliant, 50 state coverage for the overread network. More specifically, responsibilities will include physician credentialling and reappointment, state licensing and registration renewals, audit support, and network optimization from a read volume and reader availability perspective. Vision Care operations responsibilities will include streamlining GTM processes from selling and contracting to implementation and billing. This person will serve as the lead for process improvement and will provide the business reporting the demonstrates the impact of those specific process changes. Customer facing responsibility will include some strategic account project management and coordination, focusing on the subset of accounts that have complexities beyond those within the standard operating procedures. The Vision Care Sales Operations & Professional Medical Services Snr. Specialist will exercise a high degree of independence, initiative, judgment, and decision-making to prioritize workload and achieve program objectives. Success in this assignment includes stability and continuity with RetinaVue P.C. operations and a more efficient, standardized operating model for the collective vision business. This person will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including marketers, legal, compliance, sales, project managers, finance, and engineering, a critical component of this work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare related field
  • Experience creating and deploying standard operating procedures
  • Heavy analytical strengths and systems knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Align on strategic priorities with commercial leadership and streamline the respective processes to support those
  • Manage the analytics and reporting cadence for core business KPIs
  • Own the customer relationships for the top tier accounts that require some level of ongoing touch and coordination post implementation
  • Set standard operating procedures for more refined and consistent business execution.
  • Train cross functional teams accordingly
  • Support strategic account segmentation and VSM/TM alignment
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, and performance dashboards
  • Act as a strategic liaison between Sales, Marketing, Contracting/Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT
  • Support key account strategy with data and insights
  • Complete physician credentialling and re-appointment through a 3rd party (vendor).
  • Serve as the conduit between the vendor and the physicians as it pertains to document completion for renewals
  • Review reader performance for readability and 24 hr turnaround time.
  • Oversight, communication, reporting and corrective action
  • Manage the reader network size by monitoring the read volumes against state coverage and redundancy.
  • Conduct physician onboarding and termination accordingly.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for exam disputes and re-routing to the interpreting physician
  • Complete physician payments for monthly exams and clinical service director agreements (owners)
  • Manage the annual filing for state registration through a 3rd party (vendor).
  • Serve as the conduit between the vendor, the physicians, and Baxter legal as it pertains to legal entity expansion and renewal
  • Manage the cost structure for all direct expenses including but not limited to, insurance, taxes, mailbox, management services fee, etc.
  • Work with finance and accounts payable to maintain transparent reporting, budgeting and continuity of services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits.
  • Own the record keeping and source of truth for process compliance.
