About The Position

The Sr. Specialist, Talent and Performance must possess the communications skills and business acumen to lead and facilitate enterprise-wide change initiatives. This leader must be in a constant state of “challenging the status quo,” while managing the balance of maintaining the positive aspects of our current culture. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications to effectively lead change initiatives, as well as the personal skills required to be an effective leader, influencer, aligner, and communicator. The Sr. Specialist will be accountable for implementing performance and succession tools that support our talent review and succession planning processes, along with creating and implementing tools to enhance the individual performance of teammates. The Sr. Specialist must work collaboratively and cross-functionally to ensure that the business has useful tools to hold teammates accountable for their performance, while holding teammates and managers accountable for developing talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership, or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in training, organizational development, HR generalist or related roles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop tools used for the development and performance of teammates
  • Create and update tools and processes used for succession planning
  • Work with business leaders to develop specific technical capabilities across the Company
  • Recommend team focused tools to foster stronger team performance
  • Facilitate sessions to support team development for leadership capabilities
  • Evaluate assessment tools for use within the Company
  • Collaborate with other teams within HR to update, enhance, and improve current and future HR processes
  • Create/recommend assessment tools for individual teammate development
  • Implement and lead an annual teammate assessment process
  • Develop tools that evaluate the performance of individual teammates
  • Assess current performance and evaluation tools to ensure that they are optimal for business needs
  • Facilitate group meetings focused on performance
  • Lead the annual goal-setting process
  • Ensure that compensation is linked to performance objectives by working with the Compensation and Benefits Team to create clear linkage between performance and rewards
  • All other duties as assigned
