About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Social Media is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing a multi‑channel social media strategy that strengthens brand awareness, drives engagement, and supports organizational goals. This role manages day‑to‑day content creation, scheduling, analytics, and community engagement across TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other emerging platforms. A strong understanding of digital trends, short-form video, reputation management, and brand storytelling is essential.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later)
  • Strong experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Deep understanding of short-form video trends and social-first storytelling
  • Experience with community management and online reputation engagement
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 6-9 years of work experience of Marketing experience, preferably with experience developing and implementing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Strong visual and content creation skills (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategies aligned to brand, campaign, and business priorities
  • Manage and maintain social content calendars across multiple channels and audiences
  • Translate marketing campaigns and business initiatives into platform-specific social content
  • Create engaging, platform-native content including short-form video (Reels, TikTok), graphics, and copy
  • Partner with internal teams to source stories, subject matter experts, and content opportunities
  • Ensure all content reflects brand voice, visual standards, and messaging consistency
  • Monitor and engage with audiences across platforms in a timely, authentic, and brand-aligned manner
  • Support reputation management by identifying and escalating sensitive or high-risk interactions
  • Foster community growth and strengthen audience relationships through proactive engagement
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth, etc.)
  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to continuously optimize content and strategy
  • Provide regular reporting and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
  • Partner with marketing, brand, recruitment marketing, and communications teams to align social efforts
  • Collaborate with external partners or agencies as needed to support content creation or campaigns
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on social media trends, best practices, and platform innovations
