Senior Specialist, Production Services Infrastructure Support Analyst
About The Position
This is a hands-on, onsite data center technician role focused on physical infrastructure operations, supporting a 24x7 mission-critical environment. Shift work may be required. In this role, you will execute hands-on installation, break/fix, and lifecycle management of data center infrastructure (servers, storage, and network devices). You will perform structured cabling (fiber and copper), cabinet buildouts, and assist with space planning in accordance with design standards. You will support 24x7 Data Center operations through incident response, troubleshooting, and shift coverage. You will execute small to mid-size infrastructure tasks and projects across competing priorities. You will maintain accurate documentation, asset tracking, and audit records. You will adhere to strict safety, security, and change management procedures. You will contribute to the development and adoption of AI-enabled monitoring and automation capabilities to improve operational efficiency and incident response. You will comply with all data center safety requirements, including adherence to operational controls and secure handling of equipment and media.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field or with 5-7 years of field experience working in large scale data centers.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills in a production environment
- Ability to work in a data center environment, including lifting equipment (50–70 lbs), working in raised-floor environments, and standing for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools preferred.
