Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field. 8 years of practical experience.
  • 8 years of military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree
  • In lieu of formal education, at least 16 years of progressive experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of B-52 aircraft weapon systems and sub-systems is strongly desired.
  • Experience as a maintainer, technician, logistician, maintenance planner/scheduler, supply manager, or equipment specialist is required.
  • Applicant must possess experience in the following: MS Office, word processing, data management and records keeping.
  • Successful applicant must be capable of working independently and in a team environment and possess good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Applicant will be expected to occasionally brief results to other team members and to KBR Management, and our customers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Will utilize engineer drawings, technical orders, and illustrated parts breakdown via All-purpose Tool for Engineering, Analytics, and Management (A-TEAM), Technical Order Authoring and Publishing (TOAP), and Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS) databases.
  • Identify IPB indentation errors causing parts relationship breaks within the dataset.
  • Assist SPO in developing a top-down drawing tree/database for the entire aircraft by assigning engineer drawings to an owner or appropriate Weapon System Code in A-TEAM.
  • Research is conducted on aircraft parts and National Stock Number (NSN) using Information Handling Services (IHS) Haystack Gold, and Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS)/(FedMall).
  • Compiles information into a change package that will instruct editors of any changes required.
  • Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
  • Oversee the completion of projects including planning; assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.
  • Provide activity and status reports to management.
  • Utilize data effectively to improve assigned projects and systems including reviewing lists and summaries, identify patterns, analyze results, and make presentations to others.
  • Analyze data and establish requirements for technical objectives and characteristics.
  • Collect information to analyze and evaluate aircraft depot maintenance, aircraft, system, subsystem and parts reliability and maintainability and supportability requirements and issues regarding critical safety items in support of the USAF Weapon System Program Office (SPO).
  • Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical data; and identify and analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Assess a wide range of maintenance concepts, principles, and practices of systems/equipment.
  • Follow required security and safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
  • Provide technical advice in terms of oral and written briefings, reports, and recommendations to leadership, maintenance technicians, engineers, etc.
  • Utilize database software to find records, sort, review, edit, print, and perform other functions.
  • Input and analyze data to assist in ensuring avionics systems, subsystems and component integrity is maintained for the weapon systems operational service life.
  • Prepare detailed charts/diagrams, outlining maintenance and supply requirements and processes using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
  • Perform other similar duties assigned in support of the Weapon System.
