About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Inventory is responsible for end-to-end inventory management across the New Ulm TTH manufacturing site, ensuring accurate stock levels, material availability, and compliance with company standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting production continuity, cost control, and operational efficiency. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and partners cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Finance to ensure optimal inventory performance and alignment with site objectives.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Experience in regulated manufacturing (food, nutrition, or similar) preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Optimize inventory levels (min/max, safety stock) aligned with production and supply planning
Ensure proper stock segmentation (e.g., quality hold, blocked, unrestricted use)
Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production
Partner with planning and operations teams to align inventory with production schedules
Serve as a key liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Finance
Provide reporting and insights to support decision-making and financial accuracy
