We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer passionate about improving manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth product transitions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical science from an accredited university or college.
  • General understanding and working knowledge of common engineering concepts & applications including statistical and scientific tools (e.g., Gage R&R, DOE, process capability, SPC, etc.).
  • Ability to identify technical problems and execute solutions relevant to project responsibility using a systematic problem-solving process.
  • Basic understanding of electric motor theory and principles, including typical mechanical and electrical inspection methods.
  • Ability to create technical presentations and recommendations for internal and external customers.
  • Apply basic project/process management tools (i.e., Gantt chart, RACI matrices) to ensure performance against project deliverables.
  • Ability to develop effective work relationships with suppliers and customers of project/process input and output.
  • Must verify identity and status as a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, or person granted refugee or asylee status (or equivalent) in the U.S., OR undergo additional steps for ITAR/EAR compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of capable processes and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production.
  • Initiates and conducts defined technical tasks within a manufacturing environment.
  • Assesses process capabilities and innovates and implements process improvements for discrete, well-defined processes.
  • Analyzes, understands, and applies technical and quality requirements of well-defined products to create proper documentation.
  • Writes clear and concise work instructions for manufacturing operators.
  • Assists in the disposition and review of non-conforming rejects to identify and implement corrective actions.
  • Contributes to technical reports, validations, and qualifications by capturing experimental results.
  • Writes validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
  • Gathers and provides technical data for technical reviews.
  • Oversees development builds associated with projects.
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of key production processes and materials.
  • Assists in the design of fixtures and tooling to facilitate product development.
  • Creates dimensional characterization methodology and inspection criteria.
  • Investigates root cause and implements corrective action for quality or cost concerns.
  • Identifies and implements a comprehensive education plan to advance technical skills and personal development.
