About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Corporate Actions joins the Operations team focused on securities and shareholders. The role is located in Berwyn, Pennsylvania and performs corporate action custody and accounting processing across mandatory and voluntary events. The position works with organizational units and teams to ensure events are appropriately addressed, evaluates the impact of moderately complex events, and shares event information with investors and client accounts. It also researches inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and processes complex corporate actions across multiple systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• 5–7 years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in financial services or corporate actions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custody and accounting processing for mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including dividend payments, reorganizations and proxy events, bond redemptions, reconciliations, client reporting, and transaction proration.
• Meet with organizational units and teams to ensure corporate action events are addressed appropriately.
• Determine the impact of moderately complex corporate action events and disseminate event information to investors and client accounts.
• Research and respond to inquiries from internal business groups, depositories, agents, brokers, clients, Investment Managers, sub custodians, and custodians.
• Process complex corporate actions across multiple systems, including creating and scrubbing announcements, sending client instructions to third parties, and posting online cash and security transactions.
