About The Position

Sunoco LP is seeking a software developer to design, build, and integrate modern web applications with existing backend systems. The role supports and enhances a current Angular application and contributes to a new React-based application that is actively being built. React experience is beneficial as the company expands its front-end technology stack.

The developer will play a leadership role in sprint planning, requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping, and full-stack development. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions using C#, TypeScript, MSSQL, and contemporary front-end frameworks within a CI/CD environment. Architectural thinking, clean coding practices, and experience across frontend and backend systems are important to success.

The position typically works under normal office conditions. Occasional overnight travel may be required, and the employee must be able to remain stationary for prolonged periods, sitting or standing, for 50% of the time.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience and demonstrated competency.
• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with C# and MSSQL.
• Understanding of HTML, XML, web services, and related technologies.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures involving complex table relationships.
• Knowledge of writing ETL applications using MSSQL and C#.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work patiently with users.
• Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
• Ability and willingness to understand the underlying business process beyond IT knowledge.

• Experience with React.
• The Senior IT Specialist level requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5–8 years of relevant job-related experience.
• The Lead IT Specialist level requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant job-related experience.
• The Principal IT Specialist level requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of relevant job-related experience.
