About The Position

The Senior Specialist, Budget and Comparator Analyst will execute and support comparator sourcing strategies, including purchase orders and invoicing, budget reporting and tracking. Collaborate across CSC utilizing multiple systems to ensure comparator purchases are created accurately and according to approved budgets. Responsible for the reporting of comparator pricing across vendors to assist in purchasing decisions, vendor analysis, and budget savings reporting. Support the consolidation of BMS commercial supply demand for monthly reporting within GSC.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate/graduate degree in business, science or closely related field, or directly related experience.
  • 3+ years clinical supply chain or related operational planning/leadership experience.
  • Ability to professionally, effectively and respectfully represent BMS in dealings with external companies’ colleagues.
  • Advanced organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Must have the ability to interact effectively with management and external vendors and to influence colleagues without direct authority over the individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Clinical Supply Program Leadership and Trial Supply Management groups, as well as with vendors on the execution of comparator orders, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, including follow up on deliveries.
  • Ensure that entered purchase requisitions are captured in current budget projection.
  • Track when drug has been received and ensure that invoices are correctly posted against appropriate Purchase Orders.
  • Support monthly budget analysis and reporting required for R&D finance variance and actuals reporting.
  • Maintain and track pricing of comparator products across various vendor sources and complex strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain reports as needed for internal and external customers, focusing on savings, metrics and spend per product and across vendors.
  • Support the sales of commercial BMS products for Transcelerate Comparator Network members.
