About The Position

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior level Space / Counterspace Analyst for the USSSPACECOM Program in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves conducting all-source analytic production of foreign space and counter-space forces, activities, and capabilities. The analyst will research foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications, collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies. A key part of the role is developing mission analysis, including civilian and military organizations, command structure, leadership, equipment, weapons, platforms, systems, their readiness and disposition, and facilities. The analyst will also participate in working groups with Subject Matter Experts to develop intelligence products and support command level planning efforts, and coordinate with the intelligence community (IC) to develop foreign adversary space threat analysis. The position requires using various tools to perform trend analysis of emerging foreign space capabilities, producing Space Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (SIPB) and targeting products, and presenting comprehensive threat analysis to command decision makers. Additionally, the role involves identifying and developing Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) and Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) in concert with Collection and Requirement Managers, developing enemy courses of action, and assisting in the development of targeting products such as electronic targeting folders and target system analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • A Certified Department of Defense All-Source Analyst I (CDASA-I) is highly desired.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and CI Poly

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all-source analytic production of foreign space and counter-space forces, activities, and capabilities.
  • Research foreign adversary space doctrine, strategy, communications and collections, vulnerabilities, platforms, assembly and launch capabilities, weapons, dual-use systems and technologies, and emerging space technologies.
  • Develop mission analysis to include civilian and military organizations, command structure, leadership, equipment, weapons, platforms, systems and their readiness and disposition, facilities.
  • Participate in working groups with Subject Matter Experts to develop intelligence products and support command level planning efforts.
  • Work and coordinate with intelligence community (IC) to develop foreign adversary space threat analysis.
  • Use various tools to perform trend analysis of emerging foreign space capabilities.
  • Produce Space Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (SIPB) and targeting products on foreign space and counter-space programs that characterizes, assesses, and documents capabilities in support of CCMD.
  • Present comprehensive threat analysis to command decision makers.
  • Identify and development of Priority Intelligence requirements (PIRs) and Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) in concert with Collection and Requirement Managers.
  • Develop enemy courses of action in support of command mission analysis and planning efforts.
  • Assist in the development of targeting products such as electronic targeting folders and target system analysis.
