We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Sourcing Spcialist. The position is located at our Bridgewater, MA office location. Purpose: Reporting to the Biosense Webster Director of Procurement, the Senior Sourcing Specialist, Supply Chain Procurement will be responsible for supporting supply chain procurement activities for the J&J MedTech Biosense Webster US Franchise. He / she will lead and support supplier selection processes across both new product development and launched products. This leader is expected to provide hands-on leadership in all aspects of global sourcing to ensure best in class quality, reliability, innovation, and cost across the Biosense Webster supply base. He / she will be responsible for developing relationship with functional leads across R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial Teams to provide overall coordination, facilitation and enablement of programs that will drive best practice strategic sourcing and will leverage J&J’s position in external supplier spend. You will be responsible for: Partner with R&D and supply chain functional leads to understand business strategy and develop long-term sourcing strategy to improve supply reliability and optimize material costs for key growth products Lead Market Engagement Programs to support competitive bidding for Make vs. Buy assessments, NPI supplier selection, and targeted component spend areas across Electronics, External Manufacturing, Direct Precision Material and Packaging Categories Orchestrate of category/supplier management performed by the categories and oversight for the execution delivery of the strategic plan and business plan, in line with expectations put forth by BWI SC, Quality, R&D and Commercial functions Support 4+ strategic sourcing initiatives simultaneously across multiple products, global procurement categories, and geographies Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level Lead and support multiple supplier negotiations simultaneously. Coordinate with key stakeholders, drive terms that are favorable for Biosense, and hand off stabilized products, contracts and suppliers to base business sourcing teams. Optimize quality, supply reliability, innovation and cost through early supplier engagement during product development. Drive innovation through identifying and developing external partner capabilities to meet future technology needs. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations, Quality, R&D or Engineering field
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience in Medical Devices or related industry is required

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
