About The Position

Topco Associates is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst to join our Indirect Spend – Logistics team in Quincy, MA. This hybrid position is based in our Quincy office three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. The Senior Sourcing Analyst plays a key role in developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives across a diverse portfolio of indirect logistics categories, including fleet services, material handling equipment, batteries and chargers, and other operational products and services. Working closely with member-owners, suppliers, and cross-functional business partners, this role leads sourcing projects that help members reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and maximize the value of their procurement programs. Success in this role requires strong analytical, project management, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate supplier agreements, and manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, project management, consulting, business analytics, or a related business function.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas, along with proficiency in PowerPoint and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build collaborative supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to both internal and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives from opportunity assessment through supplier selection, contract execution, and ongoing program management.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and manage competitive sourcing events, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and supplier evaluations.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements using a variety of sourcing approaches, including competitive bidding and reverse auctions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional sourcing projects while managing timelines, stakeholder expectations, and project deliverables.
  • Support successful program implementation by partnering with internal teams, suppliers, and member-owners throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
  • Analyze operational, financial, and supplier data throughout the sourcing process to identify opportunities, risks, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and develop expertise in assigned logistics categories to support strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and business requirements to develop data-driven recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Present analytical findings and sourcing recommendations that support informed business decisions.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers, member-owners, and internal business partners.
  • Present sourcing strategies, project updates, and business recommendations to stakeholders throughout the sourcing process.
  • Manage supplier contracts from negotiation through implementation while monitoring pricing, service levels, and contractual compliance.
  • Partner with suppliers and member-owners to identify continuous improvement opportunities that enhance program performance and deliver additional value.
  • Partner with Account Management and Program Management teams to support the growth and adoption of sourcing programs.
  • Assist in developing annual sourcing strategies, business plans, and category roadmaps.
  • Monitor program performance and sales activity to identify opportunities for continued growth and member value.
  • Support business reviews by preparing presentations, performance analyses, and strategic recommendations.
