Strategic Sourcing Analyst
About The Position
Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the world’s manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile. This role will lead the data management and quantitative analyses of sourcing activities within the Strategic Sourcing Organization (SSO). The Analyst will be involved in the strategic sourcing process by working on complex problems that create analytical tools, data recommendations/solutions to problems. Experience using Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform to create these new tools/solutions is required. These solutions will include development, documentation, and delivery of repeatable processes to meet partner requirements. The Analyst will need to manage multiple priorities to meet reporting/project timelines. The role reports to the Applied Technology and Analytics Manager and has a hybrid schedule working in Milwaukee, WI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.

- Experience using Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform to create analytical tools/solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet reporting/project timelines.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years experience integrating large datasets using Power Query, Power BI, MS Access, SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Experience creating or updating tools/processes and supporting organizational change management.
- ERP/MRP knowledge — SAP experience.
- Understanding of supply chain models and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concepts.
- Experience partnering with engineering, quality, marketing, and other teams.
Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneNote.
- Manipulate data, summarize findings, and perform root‑cause analysis.
- Verify accuracy, logic, and plausibility of data and solutions.
- Prioritize and deliver multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Written and verbal communication with partners at all levels.
