Requirements

  • A master's degree or higher in electrical and computer engineering, information management, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience writing applications; preference for scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.).
  • 3+ years of practical Linux OS experience.
  • 3+ Years in Product, Process, or Semiconductor Yield Engineering
  • Expertise with relational databases, including Oracle and Informix, and the capacity to read and write SQL.
  • Extremely competent, self-driven, and self-reliant individual
  • Has excellent English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with machine learning and big data (Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create an ETL mapping and/or design document depending on organizational needs.
  • Writing ETL code, primarily in Perl and Python, and unit testing it.
  • Collaborating with the Support and SWD teams to find fixes for issues that arise during the product lifecycle.
  • Build a knowledge base over time to comprehend how data engineering decisions will be influenced by reports and information.
  • Assist the leadership team for business intelligence in understanding and/or advancing the requirements for iterative development approach.
  • Coordinate coding efforts and encourage pertinent conversations among coworkers.
  • The capacity to work in a rapid-fire, iterative setting.
  • Take part in design meetings with business analysts, data modelers, and report developers.
  • Keep up with new development processes, and as necessary, convey trends and opportunities to management.
