About The Position

INTECON is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support the U.S. Air Force A33B Mission Assurance Construct Support (MACS) program. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing enterprise data architecture solutions that enable Mission Assurance workflows and data-driven decision-making within a Pentagon SCIF environment. The position requires an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and is a full-time, onsite role in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with caveats. U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Master's degree (M.A. or M.S.) from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Over 10 years of experience in solutions architecture, enterprise architecture, or related technical leadership roles
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms and analytical systems
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures, data integration patterns, and API design
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements in DoD environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate across multiple stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Palantir Foundry platform architecture and implementation
  • Familiarity with Platform One, Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce integrations
  • AWS, Azure, or DoD cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
  • TOGAF, DoDAF, or similar enterprise architecture certification
  • Experience supporting Air Force or DoD Mission Assurance, risk management, or critical infrastructure programs
  • Prior experience working in HAF or MAJCOM-level environments
  • Knowledge of AI/ML implementation strategies and automation technologies

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise data architecture solutions supporting Mission Assurance analytical workflows and decision support systems
  • Evaluate and assess current data architecture configurations to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop technical roadmaps and implementation strategies for Mission Assurance data platform capabilities
  • Architect solutions within Government-directed enterprise platforms including Platform One, Jira, Confluence, Palantir, and Salesforce
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on data integration, interoperability, and system modernization initiatives
  • Develop and document technical specifications, system designs, and architecture artifacts
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders to translate mission requirements into technical solutions
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, automation approaches, and AI/ML techniques for potential integration into Mission Assurance workflows
  • Support workflow automation design and implementation across the enterprise data platform
  • Ensure solutions comply with DoD cybersecurity requirements, data standards, and enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior data management and workflow support personnel
  • Support VTC facilitation and technical coordination at the Top Secret level
