About The Position

Nova Credit is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect, Partnerships to join their Go-To-Market team, focusing on new market opportunities, particularly in the automotive lending space. This role is a 0-to-1 position, meaning the individual will help define the product, ideal customer profile, use case, and sales motion in an emerging market. The Senior Solutions Architect will act as a consultative product expert, collaborating with clients and internal teams (Account, Product, Engineering, Data Science) throughout the customer journey. The role has a strong emphasis on pre-sales, working closely with Account Executives to advance new deals. Responsibilities include engaging with large financial institutions and technology players, owning the technology and product aspects of strategic partnerships (B2B2C), and managing partner integrations and end-customer implementations. A working familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and scripting languages like Python is essential for demonstrating platform value. The position is full-time, hybrid (3 days/week in office), based in the New York City Metropolitan area, and reports to the Director of Solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years Experience in customer facing pre- or post-sales roles, with a bias toward pre-sales, ideally in financial services, credit, or a related industry.
  • Experience with 0-to-1 GTM motions, where the product, ideal customer profile, ideal use case, and sales motion are not yet fully defined.
  • A builder's mindset and the temperament to thrive when the sales process, collateral, and motion are not yet established; comfortable with ambiguity and driven to create structure.
  • Highly cross-functional, with a proven ability to collaborate across business, engineering (Build), and Data Science teams to drive outcomes.
  • Working familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and a scripting language such as Python. Able to read code and make light edits.
  • Familiarity with UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe, or Paper.
  • Proven experience in Enterprise IT solutions and implementations.
  • Experience managing multi-party integration partnerships, identifying and reconciling competing needs across partner platforms, lenders, dealers, and the end consumer.
  • An understanding of the nuance of operating within a channel partner ecosystem, balancing the needs and capabilities of Nova, the partner, the lender, and the consumer.
  • Intellectual curiosity, drive, and coachability.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with indirect (dealer-financed) lending.
  • Familiarity with dealer platforms (RouteOne, Dealertrack).

Responsibilities

  • Establish a technical and strategic understanding of Nova Credit's implementation operations.
  • Learn the go-to-market motion of Nova Credit and the Partnerships BU's 0-to-1 initiatives, including automotive expansion.
  • Run client meetings.
  • Partner with Account Executives to advance the technical dimensions of pre-sales strategic enterprise deal processes.
  • Partner with Deployment Leads to advance the technical dimensions of post-sales strategic implementation processes.
  • Shape the technical decisions customers make when integrating Nova Credit's products to maximize business value.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Partnerships BU, Build, and Data Science teams to develop collateral, technical approach, and sales motion for an evolving product and market.
  • Launch or close customer engagements.
  • Close and launch critical enterprise customers.
  • Help set up the automotive opportunity for success.
  • Scale the SA function by contributing to foundational processes and content, particularly for 0-to-1 motions.
  • Shape the trajectory of Nova by working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to prioritize road map features that unblock critical accounts.
