Senior Solution Engineer

SimSpace Corporation
$135,000 - $190,000Hybrid

About The Position

SimSpace serves as an AI Proving Ground where organizations can confidently train, test, and outmaneuver adversaries in any environment. Trusted by allied governments, militaries, enterprises, and research institutions worldwide, SimSpace enables adaptive, AI-ready defenses that stay ahead of evolving threats. Founded in 2015 by experts from U.S. Cyber Command and MIT Lincoln Laboratory, the platform unifies training, testing, and validation in a realistic, live-fire simulation—helping teams evaluate security investments, optimize performance, and compress cyber readiness cycles from months to days. SimSpace is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to help drive growth across the Americas by serving as a trusted technical advisor to customers, prospects, partners, resellers, and system integrators. This role will primarily support North, Central, and South America, with occasional travel as business needs require. SimSpace builds high fidelity cyber ranges that are used to not only train, test, & evaluate cybersecurity teams, but cybersecurity agents as well. This is a technical seat with commercial weight. You will run discovery, shape evaluations, build and deliver tailored demonstrations, support RFI/RFP responses, and own the technical narrative through to close, working closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Professional Services, and channel teams. You will also conduct field engineering when appropriate: standing up bespoke integrations, wiring customer tooling into a range, and supporting model-driven and agentic security work that does not yet have a playbook. The ideal candidate is comfortable and credible with executive and deeply technical stakeholders across a range of markets, and capable of representing SimSpace through webinars, conferences, executive briefings, and partner-led events.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in cybersecurity solution engineering, presales, technical consulting, cyber range operations, security architecture, or a related customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity markets across the Americas, including customer expectations, buying processes, public- and private-sector priorities, and regional partner dynamics.
  • Experience working with resellers, system integrators, MSSPs, consulting firms, or other channel partners across the Americas.
  • Technical knowledge across areas such as cybersecurity operations, AI-enabled security (agentic solutions), security tooling through MCP, adversary emulation, detection engineering, incident response, cloud security, enterprise architecture, or OT/ICS security.
  • Demonstrated ability to define measurable success criteria and lead technical evaluations, pilots, proofs of concept, or enterprise platform demonstrations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive, business, and deeply technical audiences.
  • Ability to operate effectively across cultures and develop trusted relationships with customers and partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, partner engagements, conferences, and regional or global events.
  • Self-directed, collaborative, commercially aware, and passionate about helping customers strengthen their cyber resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical sales cycles across the Americas: outcome-based discovery, solution mapping, evaluation design, measurable success criteria, pilot execution, and technical close support.
  • Do fast-moving field engineering. Build custom tool integrations, connect customer security stacks into range environments, and support model-driven and agentic cybersecurity use cases, including AI agent evaluation in the AI Proving Grounds. Expect to be hands-on in scripting, APIs, and protocol-level integration work.
  • Design and deliver demonstrations of realistic enterprise, cloud, IT, OT, and hybrid environments, tied to what the customer is actually trying to prove.
  • Translate SimSpace capabilities into customer outcomes across their use cases
  • Enable and co-sell with regional resellers, system integrators, MSSPs, and consulting firms through joint opportunities, partner training, and go-to-market activity.
  • Own the technical content of RFI/RFP responses: solution architectures, capability mappings, and value-based technical narratives. Support renewals and expansion by surfacing new use cases and broader platform value.
  • Act as a regional thought leader and a feedback loop into Product, representing SimSpace externally and bringing market signals back internally.
  • Support renewals and expansion opportunities by helping customers identify additional use cases, broader platform value, and paths toward greater operational maturity.
