Senior Solution Engineer / Solution Architect

NODA AI•Austin, TX

About The Position

NODA is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to lead end-to-end URZA deployments and customer-facing technical delivery across active customer programs. The position may be hired at the Senior Solution Engineer (L5) or Solution Architect (L6) level, depending on demonstrated depth. The role is based in Austin, Texas, on a hybrid schedule, with approximately 30–40% travel to customer sites, partner facilities, test ranges, and live exercises. The role owns URZA deployments at customer sites, primarily in Department of War and military operating environments. The hire serves as the senior engineering presence on the ground, partners directly with Mission Leads and Field Operations, and represents NODA in customer technical reviews. The work includes substantial on-site engagement and technical writing, including runbooks, deployment guides, ConOps documents, and after-action reports. At the Senior Solution Engineer level, the role owns deployment for a single engagement, leads on-site execution, works with a more senior engineer on architecture decisions, and mentors mid-level Solution Engineers. At the Solution Architect level, the role owns deployment architecture across concurrent engagements, defines reusable integration patterns and ConOps templates, serves as customer technical authority where needed, and influences the URZA roadmap and integration layer through field learning.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas, and travel approximately 30–40% to customer sites, partner facilities, test ranges, and live exercises.
  • Systems-thinking ability across compute, networks, vehicle behavior, and ConOps.
  • Comfort diagnosing systems in degraded conditions during live exercises.
  • Strong technical documentation practices.
  • Ability to build customer credibility and exercise technical authority accurately.
