About The Position

The Senior Solution Architect (SSA) is a field-based technical pre-sales role that focuses on developing comprehensive solutions for CDW customers. This role involves helping customers design and implementing solutions across Digital Experience and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) through a consultative, pre-sales approach. In this role you will be working with customers, delivery, and internal sales teams to develop and maintain strategic relationships and be a trusted advisor to grow our Digital Experience services business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role.
  • Motivated, self-starting, and able to independently perform high quality work with minimal guidance.
  • Industry knowledge and domain expertise - Digital Experience and ITAD solutions.
  • Team collaboration and leadership: Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales and delivery, is crucial in this role.
  • Solution design and problem-solving skills: The candidate should have the ability to ability to design and clearly articulate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven collaboration across sales, delivery, and partner teams.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and statements of work preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, aligning business needs with Digital Experience and ITAD solutions
  • Lead discovery conversations, solution design, and service scoping across the sales lifecycle.
  • Develop appropriate assessment and service solutions for CDW customers, including architecture, optimizations, technology health checks, deployment services, and advisory services.
  • Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to offer consultative guidance, plan sales strategy, and author statements of work (SOWs).
  • Analyze technical and competitive considerations, defining actions to meet customer requirements in the sales cycle, and through a consultative approach, provides enhanced business outcomes beyond initial customer expectations.
  • Maintain strong customer and partner relationships while supporting territory and pipeline strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and support enablement, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across teams.
