About The Position

This role involves deploying and administering Linux on IBM zSystems or LinuxONE, working with various Linux distributions and Redhat OpenShift. The position requires strong client-facing communication, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Experience with IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC) and Linux system administration, including installation, maintenance, storage, and networking, is essential.

Requirements

• 7+ years’ experience deploying and/or administering Linux on IBM zSystems or LinuxONE
• 5+ years’ experience working with Redhat, Canonical Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux distributions
• 5+ years’ experience working with Redhat OpenShift
• 5+ years’ experience in client facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, creating presentations, presenting to client staff, and speaking at an executive level
• 5+ years’ experience working with clients that demonstrate Strong problem determination and debugging skills
• 5+ years’ experience administering Linux system including installation, maintenance, storage, and networking aspects including Fiber Channel
• 5+ years’ experience working with the IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC)
