This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S. Execute manual and automation test cases for the application suite, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure software quality and reliability Design, create, and maintain comprehensive test cases in Azure DevOps based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements Perform thorough defect identification, documentation, and tracking through the complete resolution lifecycle, ensuring clear reproduction steps and severity classification Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint demos, daily standups, and test case peer reviews Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define test coverage, validate requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives Develop and maintain automation test scripts for the application suite to increase test efficiency and coverage (preferred) Support Deg and QA/UAT validation testing during release cycles Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing best practices

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of manual software testing experience
  • Experience with medical billing, healthcare claims processing, or insurance domain (preferred)
  • Proficiency in: Manual test case design and execution
  • Test management tools (Azure DevOps or similar)
  • SQL Server (ability to write basic queries for data validation)
  • API testing concepts (RESTful services)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex business workflows
  • Willingness to develop deep expertise in medical billing domain
  • Good collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Quick learner and able to adapt in fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Automation test writing experience (Selenium, Coded UI Editor)
  • Familiarity with: Web application testing (.NET Framework applications)
  • Database testing and data verification
  • Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of medical billing workflows
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding systems
  • Familiarity with Auto Insurance claims processing
  • Experience with medical bill review systems
  • Exposure to automation testing tools
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
