About The Position

This role involves developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of insurance processes to prepare test applications. The Software QA Engineer will gain a complete understanding of all DuckCreek applications, including Policy, Billing, and Claims. Key responsibilities include reviewing and advising on QA Test Plans, conducting review sessions with client users, and documenting feedback. The engineer will maintain QA Test Plans and defect issues in Microsoft Azure, conduct demo sessions with users, and create weekly statistics on QA Testing progress. Collaboration with the application development team to provide details on reported issues and with the Automation Tool team to develop automated regression testing scripts is also expected.

Requirements

• Understanding of insurance processes.
• Familiarity with DuckCreek applications (Policy, Billing, Claims).
• Experience with QA Test Plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure for maintaining test plans and defect issues.
• Ability to conduct review sessions and document feedback.
• Skills in creating progress statistics and defect reports.
• Experience working with application development teams.
• Experience working with automation tool teams.
• Experience developing automated scripts for regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Work with application development team to provide more details on issues reported by QA Team.
• Work with Automation Tool team to develop automated scripts for regression testing of applications.
