Senior Software QA Engineer We are looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer to join our engineering team and own the quality of our software products end-to-end. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure that every release meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user experience. This is a hands-on role with significant influence over our testing strategy and QA processes.

Requirements

  • 9 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a bachelor’s degree or 7 years with a master’s degree.
  • Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and at least one scripting or programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
  • Deep experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter, Locust)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate quality risks to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test suites for complex software systems
  • Lead manual and automated testing efforts across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing
  • Build and scale automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clarity and detail; work with engineering teams to drive issues to resolution
  • Define and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes across the team
  • Collaborate with developers during code reviews to catch quality issues early in the development cycle
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and serve as a technical resource for the broader team
  • Partner with product and engineering to assess risk and prioritize testing efforts in fast-moving release cycles
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders
  • Continuously evaluate and introduce new tools, methodologies, and technologies to improve QA effectiveness
