Senior Software Engineer(Front End) - (Onsite) Bengaluru, India

Degreed is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their LXP Profiles team in Bengaluru, India. The role involves delivering user-facing features, troubleshooting production issues, and improving the quality and scalability of the LXP application. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end software development, particularly with Angular, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Deliver end-to-end implementation of new user-facing features and/or enhancements to existing features

Participate in troubleshooting production issues and work with the team to continuously evaluate and improve the quality, reliability, and scalability of the LXP application

Implement beautiful layouts using SASS / CSS3 and HTML

Craft Angular components and services with an eye for modularity

Continually improve the quality of UI code

Collaborate with product owners to ensure features/changes meet business requirements and fulfill the Degreed strategy

Work closely with designers, UX, and other developers to gain understanding of new features, dependencies, and technical details

Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing engineering processes including deployment, monitoring, localization, accessibility, and troubleshooting

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 5+ years of experience in developing front-end software
• At least 3 years of Angular experience required (latest version preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated experience in an agile environment
• Comfortable creating highly scalable SaaS systems and frameworks
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Solution-driven with the ability to understand the big picture
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously with minimal direction
• Lifelong learner and passionate about discovering new things and taking on new challenges
• Familiar with encapsulating UI code
• Experienced with Angular v12+, RxJS v6+, Unit testing with Jest, and NgBootstrap v10+
• Data visualization experience (especially with HighCharts) a plus
• ARIA attributes and screen reader technologies
• Cypress experience
• Experience with C#, .Net 6, and SQL
