Senior Software Engineer, Reporting Team (Front End) - (Onsite_ Bengaluru, India

Degreed is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their LXP Profiles team. The role involves collaborating with other developers, the Product Manager, and Engineering Manager to implement scalable solutions for the Degreed LXP platform. The focus will be on adding new features, fixing bugs, and driving the product forward. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in front-end development, particularly with Angular, and be comfortable working in an agile environment. • Deliver end-to-end implementation of new user-facing features and/or enhancements to existing features
• Participate in troubleshooting production issues and work with the team to continuously evaluate and improve the quality, reliability, and scalability of the LXP application
• Implement beautiful layouts using SASS / CSS3 and HTML
• Craft Angular components and services with an eye for modularity
• Continually improve the quality of UI code
• Collaborate with product owners to ensure features/changes meet business requirements and fulfill the Degreed strategy
• Work closely with designers, UX, and other developers to gain understanding of new features, dependencies, and technical details
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing engineering processes including deployment, monitoring, localization, accessibility, and troubleshooting

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 5+ years' experience in developing front-end software
• At least 3 years of Angular experience required (latest version preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated experience in an agile environment
• Comfortable creating highly scalable SaaS systems and frameworks
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Solution-driven with the ability to understand the big picture
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomously with minimal direction
• Lifelong learner and passionate about discovering new things and taking on new challenges
• Familiar with encapsulating UI code
• Experienced with Angular v12+
