About The Position

Clockwork Systems is seeking senior software engineers to design the next generation of network acceleration software. Clockwork.io is pioneering a software-driven approach to AI fabrics by delivering cross-stack observability, workload fault tolerance, and performance acceleration. The company was founded by Stanford researchers and veteran systems engineers who aim to redefine the foundations of distributed computing to meet the growing demands of complex AI workloads.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industry experience.
• A degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related field.
• Fluency in one or more languages: C, C++, Golang, Java, Python.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
• Expertise in data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Designing, building and scaling large distributed systems in production.
• Service-oriented architectures and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Operating systems (e.g. threads, scheduling, process sync, kernel programming).
• Database builds.
• Full stack development.

Nice To Haves

• Networking protocols - NIC architecture and operation is a plus!
