This role is for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Brink Point-of-Sale (POS) software development team, requiring extensive experience in leading engineering teams and mentoring junior members. Requirements
- 6+ years of development experience using C# .Net.
- Experience working with teams to build/support highly available web applications.
- Extensive experience working with multiple database systems.
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms.
- Ability to analyze and debug new and existing codebases.
- Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills.
- Passionate about building next-generation technologies.
- Enjoys fast-paced environments.
- Loves to code.
- Leveraged AI coding assistants to accelerate development workflows and improving code review throughput across the team.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive experience working with/leading an engineering team.
- Experience mentoring less experienced members of the team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions based on requirements, ensuring they are easily maintainable, deeply tested, and follow clean coding practices.
- Act in a lead role for tasks and projects.
- Perform peer design and code reviews.
- Assist in the growth of team members through mentorship.
- Identify and propose architecture and design optimizations.
- Propose potential feature adds and changes to enhance the product.
- Maintain highly cohesive and collaborative relationships with other team members.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality concerning PAR’s and customer’s information.
