CCC Intelligent Solutions•Chicago, IL
•$180,000 - $225,000

About The Position

CCC Intelligent Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a new, fast-growing engineering group building AI-native products for its auto casualty business, which focuses on the injury side of auto claims. The group works on products for processing medical bills, supporting claims decisions, and providing an agentic rules platform and evaluation infrastructure. The engineer will own meaningful parts of products end to end, work independently within a problem area, and take work from prototypes through production. The products include services, data pipelines, integrations, and interfaces used by claims experts. The role requires careful handling of sensitive health data, as decisions about medical bills and settlements can affect both carriers and people recovering from injuries. The engineer will build full-stack AI-powered products in TypeScript and Python, collaborating closely with product managers, ML and AI engineers, and claims experts. Ownership includes design documentation, code review, reliability, and security. The role is expected to ship production work in the first month and own a product area and take a feature from idea to customers within six months. The salary range is $180,000–$225,000, and the position is eligible for a bonus.
