About The Position
SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software/Computer Engineer to contribute to concept development, design, and integration of projects involving remote weapon systems and autonomous systems. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting computer and software engineering tasks that are critical to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advancing our innovative remote weapon systems and contributing to our efforts in the autonomous systems domain. This position is on-site in Crane, IN.
Requirements
- Software/Computer Engineering skills
- Experience with concept development, design, and integration of projects involving remote weapon systems and autonomous systems.
- Ability to support computer and software engineering tasks critical to design, development, and implementation of technologies.
- Experience in advancing remote weapon systems and contributing to autonomous systems domain.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components and systems for remote weapon systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to integrate software with hardware components in complex systems.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and testing of systems related to autonomous systems.
- Participate in system requirements analysis, design reviews, and code inspections to ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot software and system issues, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to ongoing research and development efforts to advance system capabilities.
- Document designs, specifications, and systems processes to ensure clear communication across teams.
